Jaslyn Roberts recently joined Goodwill Industries Staff Development and Training Team as the Volunteer Training and Curriculum Specialist. In this role, she engages the community to actively recruit, coach and develop a cadre of volunteer facilitators to deliver training to Goodwill consumers. With more than twenty years in human resources, Jaslyn has held a broad range of leadership and consulting roles: Senior Organizational Consultant and Diversity Practitioner at Wachovia; and a business partner with companies including John Deere, Pitney Bowes and Textron. In addition to her work, she is passionate about giving back to the community as evidenced in her activity with Leadership Charlotte, Teen Health Connection, and Teen Health Connection’s GEMS girls mentoring program. Jaslyn is also a skilled facilitator and holds training certifications from ELI, DDI, is master trainer certified in AchieveGlobal’s Leadership Skills series, and is a TRP Trainer bringing TRP™ to Goodwill Industries.

A native of the Caribbean island of Antigua, Jaslyn holds a BS in Business Administration from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT, and an MS in Organizational Change and Leadership from Pfeiffer University in Charlotte, NC. She currently resides in Charlotte, NC.

Linda Strauss is a human resources professional with over 17 years of experience in corporate HR as well as consulting. Over her career, she has specialized in every aspect of HR including recruitment, training, policies and procedures, employee relations, performance management and most recently, benefits and compensation. As a consultant, Ms. Strauss has specialized in individual career and management coaching. Ms. Strauss is a long-standing member of the Society for Human Resources Management, and has a variety of positions with local chapters of that organization. Ms. Strauss is a Certified Mediator of Workplace Conflict in addition to her TRP training certification. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English, with a concentration in Literature and Education, from Florida International University, and is also an alumni of the State University of New York at Purchase, where she studied Literature and Creative Writing.

Tina Sheaffer Glenn, from Central Pennsylvania, obtained her baccalaureate and master's degrees in business and health administration. Her 28 year career in the health care industry spans a range of marketing, management and development in acute care community hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, retirement communities, and home health care. In 1999 Tina founded, and is president and owner of, Hearthside Home Care. She has resided in North Carolina (Greensboro) since 1994. Hearthside is a home care provider that is licensed to serve a 10-county area in the Triad. Tina's other real passions are for fine music and the arts. She was classically trained at the Academy of Vocal Arts as a mezzo soprano in the '70's in Philadelphia, Pa, in opera.
