TRP® Train-the-Trainer
Information
TRP Enterprises, Inc. frequently conducts train-the-trainer sessions
so that individuals in corporations and other organizations can
be certified to present the TRP®
training to employees and others. The next trainer certification
training will take place in Winston-Salem, NC from September 22-25, 2008. It is possible that other sessions will be
scheduled, so be sure to check this web site for future updates.
Participants spend a stimulating three and a half days learning
to present all modules of the TRP®
training. In the past ten years over 100,000 employees, managers
and many others have attended TRP®
workshops. They report significant improvement in productivity,
teamwork, relationships, personal effectiveness and workplace atmosphere.
Benefits to home and family life are equally impressive.
The approximately 100 trainers in the field report results equal
to, or better than, those obtained by the creators of the program,
Sanford Danziger and Thomas White. A certified trainer at American
Express reported the following after teaching her first training
program:
“The TRP®
session conducted by my co-presenter and myself received the highest
evaluation of any offering at our recent Coaches Clinic: 4.8 out
of a possible 5. Participants suggested that everyone take the course.”
TRP® concepts
are fundamental to any successful organization and life. Companies
use the TRP®
programs for leadership, change management, sales, teambuilding,
stress management, quality and diversity.
The comments below are from two certified TRP®
trainers who report both personal and professional benefits from
attending the train-the-trainer workshop.
"Thomas and Sanford truly make learning about the TRP®
concepts an enjoyable experience. They clearly live and breathe
what they teach, and pass along their personal experiences and history
around the origins of this work. Looking back on the experience,
and having presented TRP®
many times since, not a day goes by that I don't benefit and continue
to learn from it."
Leah Eggers, Humana, Inc. Louisville, KY
“For me, attending the TRP® train-the-trainer
workshop was an extraordinary experience. Even though I have been
in corporate America for over 20 years, and I have been in the OD
field, this program was a real "clincher". The manner
in which the concepts were packaged and presented gave me a whole
new frame of reference for understanding why people make me crazy
and why I probably make them nuts sometimes! It gave me the language
and the awareness to see that I can take control of my life, and
acknowledge when I am a victim and that I alone could change that.
Free at Last! The trainers were wonderful and in such great contrast
to each other yet you could see the stuff work right before your
eyes. I laughed and cried and learned in an easy and engaging manner.
This is one program I recommend everyone should take no matter what
industry they're in, for business or personal development. Thank
you Sanford, thank you Thomas!”

Experienced trainers report that this is the clearest, best conducted
and organized trainer certification program they have attended.

organizations. $1,500.00 per trainee for nonprofits, government
and educational organizations.

trained. There are no other fees or licensing costs. The current

Persons certified within a company will be subject to the
agreement entered into by the company with TRP Enterprises, Inc.
EVALUATION CRITERIA FOR CERTIFICATION/RECERTIFICATION OF
TRAINERS:
1. Evaluation during the training. The criteria
at all stages (application/acceptance, training and follow up) for
evaluation are:
a. Ability to effectively present the material.
b. Individual's resonance and agreement with the TRP®
philosophy
c. The individual's demonstrated potential and willingness for living
TRP®.
d. The ability to effectively represent TRP®
with integrity, including the demonstration of professional behavior
and appearance.
TRP Enterprises, Inc. reserves the right to revoke the certification
if the criteria are not maintained.
2. Follow up Activities by Trainers: Make noticeable
TRP® type
changes in their lives. Report these changes to TRP®
office and engage in dialogue about them. This might take place
through mail, email or telephone. Their willingness and enthusiasm
for this process will determine continuing certification. Activities
during these discussions and reporting might include victim-to-TRP® stories,
completing Action Plans for improving relationships, etc. One side
benefit is that these reports/sessions will provide trainers with
material they can use when teaching their own workshops.
Our interaction with trainers will be a model for them
to use in following up with their trainees.
Trainers are encouraged to be examples of what they teach. The
trainer’s living example is the most important aspect of any
presentation. Many trainers work in the same building with the people
they have trained. They report that they are thus “observed”
to see if they, indeed, embody the traits they are teaching—and
that this observation is a stimulus and support to live and demonstrate
TRP® traits.
Albert Schweitzer said: "Example is not the main thing in influencing
others. It is the only thing."
CERTIFICATION PERIOD: Three years from the date
of training. Recertification is a short process for updating the
constantly evolving material and a reflection of the trainers’
“walking the talk.” The current cost for recertification
is $750.00 for an additional three years.
LOCATION: Certification training is typically
conducted at the Alliance Center, on the campus of the Center for
Purposeful Living in Winston-Salem, NC. By special arrangement, sessions
can be conducted on site or at other locations suitable to the client.
The client would be responsible for all expenses in addition to
the normal fees.
SCHEDULE FOR TRAINING:

6:30 p.m.—9:00 p.m.
